Michelle Wheatcraft photographs wildlife, and follows it: the Sonoran desert at dawn, the Arizona birding circuit and Bosque del Apache, the tropics and the Californian coast, Kenya, Alaska, and the night sky wherever it is dark enough to work in.

The set was cut from a much larger body of frames and ordered the way her days go — first light, then the wild places, and, when the light goes, the sky. Nothing is cropped, retouched or re-exported: every print arrives whole.
